Jon Evans has been sought after Producer, Engineer, & Educator from Artists all over the world. He is an Multi-Instrumentalist and a recording for the past 20 years.
His first book Think Analog Work Digital: Tracking & Recording — focused on deconstructing world-class producers recording techniques and putting it in the hands of the DIY musicians.
Jon was featured in the 2010 Grammy’s as both a technical & artistic award. He presents studio skills as a tool for artistic control and ideal musical expression.
He has also served as a beta tester for various plugin companies, and an educational guest lecturer for being entrepreneurship and being an independent artist.
Jon received his Degree in the Recording Arts from Full Sail University in 2004. He then became the head engineer at Lucid Studios in Las Vegas where he developed the method of recording that allows for committing to sound with options with letting valuable creative time getting in the way of technical issues.
He moved on to Austin, TX to establish Birds Eye Media to help various artist create and distribute the artistic expression with minimal red tape. He has since moved to the Orlando area to enjoy Disney activities and currently the the Denver area to help bring more music industry influencers educate coast-less musicians.
He enjoys Basketball, college football, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and banana cream pie.
